Britney Spears to appear on 'The X Factor'

Of Solace has broken UK box-office recordsPop star Britney Spears is set to appear on the television music talent show The X Factor cementing her triumphant comeback after years of battling psychiatric
problems and substance addiction.

The star will be singing her new record "Womaniser" on the show later this month, because Simon Cowell (format creator and judge on the British series) is a fan, reports dailymail.co.uk.

“I'm really excited about it, because she has got her act together and the new record is terrific. She has come back from a very dark place and is a terrific artist,” Cowell said.

Other stars to have appeared on the show have been Mariah Carey, Take That, Will Young, Kylie Minogue among others.
