Scarlett Johansson has revealed that she is flattered to know that she was the inspiration behind Katy Perry’s hit song I Kissed a Girl.
The actress, who gained critical acclaim for her roles in movies such as the Ghost World and Lost in Translation, had been told that she had been Katy Perry’s muse when the platinum-certified single was penned.
The singer, who made her debut in May this year as a vocalist on her first album Anywhere I Lay My Head, added that despite the compliment, her lips belonged only to hubby Ryan Reynolds.
"That's flattering, but my lips are kind of taken,” People magazine quoted her as telling December’s Allure.
Scarlett, who previously remained unfamiliar about her role in Perry’s song, added: “I had no idea (about the song). I should get a cut!"
